Troubleshoot a preparation mistake

Every envelope contains two test strips. If the first strip was used incorrectly, the second strip lets you start over and repeat the approved steps. Preg Pro is non-diagnostic and cannot provide health or pregnancy information.

The water amount was more or less than 10 ml

What to check

The approved preparation amount is 10 ml of water. Do not try to adjust an already mixed batch by estimating what to add or remove.

Start again with the second strip

Use the second strip from the envelope. Measure a fresh 10 ml of water first, then follow all three preparation steps again.

The yellow end did not turn completely white

What to check

The yellow end needs to be dipped into the water and stirred until it turns white. If yellow remains visible, the approved visual endpoint was not reached.

Start again with the second strip

Use the second strip from the envelope with a fresh 10 ml of water. Keep the yellow end in the water and stir until it turns completely white.

The strip was not immersed long enough

What to check

Do not substitute a guessed number of seconds for the visible instruction. The check is whether the yellow end has been stirred in the water until it turns white.

Start again with the second strip

Use the second strip from the envelope and repeat the steps. Keep the yellow end immersed while stirring, and stop only after it has turned white.

The prepared liquid has been sitting for more than 3 days

What to check

The public use window is up to 3 days after mixing. A batch beyond that window should not be used for the novelty setup.

Start again with the second strip

Use the second strip from the envelope, if it is still unused, to prepare a fresh batch with 10 ml of water and follow the three steps again.

Still unable to resolve the preparation issue?

Review the illustrated steps once more. If the issue remains, contact product support and describe the water amount, whether the yellow end turned white, and when the liquid was mixed.
